01

Coastal exposure is a project condition

Where a property is exposed to salt air, visible corrosion and fastener condition are useful items to document. Photographs help triage a concern but do not replace inspection or engineering.

02

Think about access before removal

Narrow side yards, landscaping, neighboring structures and pool equipment can affect how materials reach the enclosure. Show the approach to the backyard as well as the cage itself.

03

Replacement is not just a copy

An older enclosure may not provide a suitable template for a new one. Existing supports, connections and the proposed work need review before reusing a footprint or promising like-for-like replacement.

04

Prepare the property information

Send the full address and any prior permit records or survey you have. RFH confirms the appropriate local review path for the particular property and scope.

Let’s look at your project.

A clear address, a few photos and a conversation are the right place to start.
